I came to Basecamp to assemble the first marketing team in the company’s 23-year history and launch their first national brand campaign. In my previous role, I had 10x the team size, 100x marketing budget, and a roster of agencies. At Basecamp, we set out to create an ambitious amount of work with a small, scrappy internal team. The JUST LET ME DO MY JOB campaign gained global attention and a Webby nomination among 40k+ entries.

Basecamp eliminates a barrage of meetings, emails, and Slack messages. So instead of talking about the software’s features like our competitors do, we decided to make fun of the typical way corporations work.
